General Information

These seminars are intended for curious teenagers and adults who want a deeper understanding of material than what they learned in school. We start most seminars by assuming a base knowledge of geometry or algebra and then we explore topics outside of the standard secondary and post-secondary curricula.

Goals

Enrichment - Seminars start by changing a foundational rule and exploring the consequences. This quest inevitably gives participants new perspectives on standard topics, strengthening their foundation for later courses.
Discovery - The nature of the seminar style allows students to follow their curiosity and make their own discoveries. Sharing these discoveries with the group can grow into further development which could be presented or published to a larger audience.

In Person
Format

If you are a group of 5 or more interested in the same seminar, we will work with you to arrange locations and times to meet in person in the Greater Boston Area.

Schools and Community Groups with interested members are encouraged to contact us to find solutions suitable to your program needs.

Schedule

Seminars are organized into 10-week sessions. Each session starts with a new topic within the overall theme. Designed to be flexible, you can join any term or take a break for a season!

Weekly meeting time will be determined at least one week before start to coordinate a time that works for everyone enrolled.

Tuition

Tuition is $400 per 10-week session.
Two virtual make-up sessions offered for absences.
Email support as-needed to facilitate progress between meetings.
